Bjorn Sejr Nielsen, Marketing Director, Danfoss comments: “The H&V News Awards celebrate the highest achievements across our industry so we are delighted that two Danfoss developments are among this year’s potential winners. It demonstrates our continuing commitment to invest in the latest technologies to provide solutions that deliver real commercial benefits for users.”

SonoSelect – Shortlisted for Commercial Product of the Year: Launched to the UK market in August 2016, SonoSelect is the UK’s first Smartphone App-based Residential Heat Meter. As well as delivering reliable and consistent energy data, SonoSelect utilises Bluetooth technology to enable the meter to be accessed from a smartphone using the SonoApp.  This latest innovation makes it possible to monitor energy usage, configure, reconfigure, diagnose and fix faults on the meter remotely – saving significant time and cost during and after installation.

Novocon BMS CPD Presentation – Shortlisted for Training Initiative of the Year: Taking Pressure Independent Control Valve (PICV) training and education methods to the next level with the introduction of a live product demonstration, the Novocon BMS CPD Presentation supports Danfoss’s Novocon multi-functional actuator – an advanced BACnet network-connected actuator for the control of PICVs. To date, this new training initiative has been demonstrated to over 400 M&E consultants, mechanical and BMS engineers and has assisted the specification and installation of the Novocon digital actuator in a number of important UK projects.
